President and Chief Executive Officer, Save the Redwoods League
Save the Redwoods League seeks a dynamic, strategic leader to serve as its next President & CEO. This represents an exceptional opportunity to lead one of California’s oldest and most accomplished conservation organizations, to build on its proud accomplishments, and greatly expand its future impact.
The new President & CEO will be charged with navigating the League’s next chapter, ensuring the feasibility and success of its ambitious plans, building alignment among the League’s various partners, contributors, and staff, and thoughtfully expanding the organization’s capacity. They will be a passionate advocate on behalf of redwoods, encouraging donors, partners, and staff to support the League’s mission of land protection, forest restoration, and public connection, while also preparing for landscape-scale acquisitions. In doing so, the next President & CEO has the opportunity to inspire and shape the future of conservation efforts in California and beyond and promoting the potential climate impact of these efforts on the global stage.

Prescribed Fire Coordinator, Mt. Adams Resources
Mt. Adams Resource Stewards is seeking a highly-organized, detail-oriented individual to coordinate and expand prescribed fire in the south Mt. Adams region. Primary duties will include coordination of the Mt. Adams Prescribed Burn Association (PBA), a coalition of private land managers supporting one another in implementing prescribed fire on private lands, and the Columbia Gorge Prescribed Fire Training Exchange (TREX), an annual 2-week immersive prescribed fire training event held in Trout Lake, WA. The Coordinator’s daily work will include meeting facilitation, burn plan writing, landowner outreach & site visits, fire effects monitoring, participation in local prescribed burns, and numerous other activities that increase MARS’s capacity to conduct and support prescribed fire treatments.

Outreach and Events Coordinator, Whatcom Land Trust
The Outreach and Events Coordinator plans & executives events of various sizes in support of Whatcom Land Trust’s mission. They will work closely with all staff, board members, volunteers, donors, and community partners to organize a variety of experiential programs, fundraising events, and volunteer opportunities.

Seasonal Forest Stewardship Crew, Wallowa Resources:
Wallowa Resources is hiring multiple positions to staff their seasonal forest stewardship crew. Crew members will work on a three person team under a crew lead. They will gain experience and training in a variety of forestry and natural resource projects that may include unit layout and data collection for restoration efforts, fuel reduction projects, timber sales, and other natural resource opportunities to promote healthy forests and watersheds. While the majority of the work will be located in Wallowa County- travel will be required as needed to support forest stewardship projects across Northeast Oregon and Southeast Washington.

Whidbey Camano Land Trust is hiring for a Senior Lands Protection Specialist. The Senior Land Protection Specialist oversees a diverse portfolio of real estate transactions and works with willing landowners to conserve priority lands using a suite of land protection tools. This position leads and assists the movement of projects through the land protection process and spends substantial time drafting, revising and reviewing complex legal documents.

Clean Energy Manager: Markets and Finance Specialist
Sustainable Northwest is hiring a Clean Energy Manager: Markets & Finance Specialist to support its Clean Energy team and larger network of rural and Tribal partners across Oregon and Washington. The manager will support the E-Farms Program by connecting community partners with funding and technical assistance to accelerate on-farm electrification. This position will also support Sustainable Northwest’s Community Energy Development efforts to move community-scaled projects from planning to construction.
