Site Visit: Eagle Creek Community Forest

On Tuesday, November 7, members of the Northwest Community Forest Coalition will be visiting Eagle Creek Community Forest. Located in Clackamas County, Oregon.

At 1:00 PM, the group will convene at Eagle Fern Park, where we will consolidate vehicles and tour the Community Forest

This site visit will highlight aspects of the Eagle Creek Community Forest which include:

  • Site usage impacts, such as access, recreation, partnerships and vandalism.

  • Thinning and fuels work, and the development of harvest plans.

  • Implementation of a woody debris project within the context of the larger North Fork Eagle Creek habitat restoration work.

Information gathered from this site visit will help inform discussions during our the following day’s Quarterly Meeting.
